| Our product is build using the pluggable Tabs API we developed over the time. API is written in Java. This API allows 3rd parties to design tabs which are easily pluggable into the Tab Application Frame.
Application frame serves as a platform through which user operates selected tabs. Each tab must implement ACAddableTab interface. Wide variety of functionalities is supported, such as client-server communication, database connectivity, server grouping, streaming etc. Here is the Java Documentation for the API and Development Kit that will become available for your download as soon as we finalize details of the distribution process outlined below.
We are currently working on the process that will allow 3rd party developers to commercially distribute their tabs to the customers via our web site. The currently proposed process will work as follows:
- The 3rd Party, further referred as Partner, develops Tab(s) that implements ACAddableTab interface.
- The Partner assembles the Jar file containing required code.
- The Partner registers at our website and
- Uploads the required jar file.
- Describes functionality of the tab(s) available for customer usage.
- Sets the annual price for the tab(s) usage.
- We provide customers with an ability to pay for the Partner tab(s), download the jar, install it into the Tab Application Frame.
- We will take percentage of the price for each paid download.
- We will provide the Partner with the reports on their tab(s) downloads.
